Enjoy our historic architecture on a walking tour of Downtown, or pick up a "Concord on Foot" guide for $2 at the Concord Chamber of Commerce (49 S Main St).

You can visit and tour the State Capitol Building at 107 North Main Street. The N.H. State House is the oldest State Capitol Building in the United States in which the state legislative bodies still meet in their original chambers. The imposing structure, built of New Hampshire Granite in 1815-1818, is capped with a beautiful gold dome which is both a landmark and a monument.

The State House Visitors Center is open year round. It is open to the public Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm. Self guided tours may be taken any time. Guided tours are scheduled for groups of 10 or more.

We also have the Museum of NH History and Tuck Library, both at 30 Park Street, and a wonderful place to catch a movie: Red River Theatres at 11 South Main Street.

If the kids need to run around and burn off some energy before getting back in the car, try Kimball Park, off North State Street, or White Park, at the intersection of Washington and Centre Streets.
